SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos III ‘the Great’, 222-187 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 32 mm, 16.78 g, 12 h), Nisibis, 211-187. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his right on his bow. SC 1129.2. Beautifully toned and with a wonderful portrait. Slightly brushed and with a graffito on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
